Recently selected and imported by ourselves from a dry sunny European climate for refurbishment to offer to our clients for sale
The rot free base truck was driven back some 1200 miles trouble free prior to the commencement of the work we planned to carry out .
Stripped to a rolling shell by our leading defender restoration experts and prepared for a full respray inside and out in Keswick green a modern defender colour that suits these utility vehicles really well . It was a windows out panels off repaint with a contrasting white roof .
New doorskins were added and a replacement rear tub . New screen rubber , windscreen , door rubbers , door handles , gaskets and locks , door hinges , stainless hinge bolt kit and numerous other external hardware items added to compliment the detailed process we undercarry .
During the process the chassis was steam cleaned and waxoiled to offer future protection from the elements whatever its future intended purpose . The mechanicals also fully serviced and checked out with new service items installed where required . Mileage showing 89,000 kms believed correct
A new exmoor techno cloth seat set was installed along with rubber landrover footwell mats . Woodrim steering wheel , ally door handles and gear knobs finish off the interior .
5 new tyres were fitted on freshly coated wolf rims in off white to provide contrast to the Keswick green repaint . Mudflaps , individual fold up side steps , new Td5 bumper with end caps an Aircon nose cone and puma hood complete the package .
