1968 MGB GT Sebring replica
SOLD
MG Sebring racers were specialised, lightweight competition versions of the MGB and MGC GT developed by the BMC Competitions Department in Abingdon for the 12 Hours of Sebring in the 1960s, MG having already established that the success of their MGA competition cars in earlier years led to a distinct improvement in sales of their road cars in the US. The MGB GTS (four-cylinder) and the later MGC GTS (three-litre six-cylinder) featured aluminium panels, flared arches and tuned engines, achieving significant success, including a 1964 class win and high-ranking finishes in 1967 and 1969 with one team (Hopkirk/Hedges) placing 15th overall.

Brian was based in Kent and competed regularly in the BJR from 1955 through to 1963, but only at racetracks close to him: Brands Hatch, Crystal Palace and possibly (his son Ian believes) Goodwood. 1985 Range Rover Tachr 2 6 x 6 RAF Fire and rescue vehicle
SOLD
Carmichael was the first company to convert a Range Rover to a six-wheel conversion and they were mainly made for the commercial market of fire tenders and rescue vehicles for extra carrying capacity and space for rescue equipment. The 200 gallon glass fibre tank was shaped and mounted as low as possible in the chassis to obtain a low centre of gravity and facility for removal was provided. The semi-rectangular shape with internal baffle plates prevents surge whilst the vehicle is in motion. The Range Rover chassis with a standard driving position offers dual full sized forward hinged doors for easy access for crew and driver. The two-man cab and body forms part of the clean, unbroken styling in line with the water tank incorporated. The seats were standard Range Rover units in PVC covering.
