1944 Ford Jeep GPW Wartime  
 
Needing little introduction  Ford GPW, the World War II U.S. four-wheel drive military utility vehicle, manufactured by Ford, using the "Willys" licensed design, from 1941 to 1945
 
This recently restored example will be a welcome addition to any collection  , restored to a high level using many correct parts . Supplied with some mid restoration photos and a mountain of bills and receipts detailing expenditure  over the years . 
 
Some history and correspondance dating back to 1988 from previous owners . Military dating letters 
 
The bodywork is in super condition as is the chassis , all painted in the correct colour , the hood has been renewed with a period correct item and the seats are also in good order 
 
The engine and box has also been refurbished and overall it is an absolute pleasure to drive . I have personally driven over 100 miles or so on sunny days
